Tata Motors, CEO of Jaguar Land Rover (JLR), owns Adrian Mardel, leaves the company.
“Adrien Merdel expressed his desire to retire from JLR after three years as an executive president and 35 years with the company,” JLR said in a statement. “He will be announced in a timely manner.”
The departure of Mardell comes at a time when JLR faces huge business challenges in the form of import tariffs in the United States-its largest market-a controversial luxurious brand for Jaguar, which sees its extent has been fully renewed as bev-only since 2026.
Jaguar does not make any cars until the new electricity collection is ready next year.
Mardell was appointed as CEO in November 2022. Before that, he was the financial manager of JLR.
Jaguar Land Rover, CEO of Adrian Merdale, was originally created and published by Only carsThe brand owned by Globaldata.
