Mia Sims, a 20-year-old dance teacher from the Gold Coast, shared that she and many others arrived 30 minutes early to secure a good spot in the pit before Ice Spice’s scheduled show. As a result, fans were squeezed together for nearly an hour, all in what turned out to be a very short set.

“She came out and played a couple of songs — and they weren’t even two of her most popular songs,” Sims said. “It seemed like a bit of a joke, like she didn’t care much, especially since she didn’t post anything on social media or apologize. So I couldn’t imagine being one of her biggest fans and this being the case. I would be so devastated.”
