The Ukrainian authorities said on Thursday that Russia attacked the capital of Ukraine with missiles and drones, killing at least eight people, including a six -year -old boy, and wounded 82 others.

“It is just tension and shock, nothing remains,” said Chapurova, a five -month -old mother and a five -month -old child.
The Ukrainian Air Force said that Russia fired 309 drones and eight Cruz Eskander Kelze missiles overnight. Ukrainian air defenses were hidden and connected to 288 drones and three missiles.

Meanwhile, the Russian Ministry of Defense said on Thursday that it had shot down 32 Ukrainian drones overnight.

The Russian Ministry of Defense also said that its forces have completely controlled the city of Chasiv Yar, of strategic importance in the eastern Donetsk region of Ukraine.
Ukrainian officials, who do not usually confirm the declines, did not comment immediately.
Zelenskyy calls on the allies to press Moscow
