Skyscraper leaving 5 dead, including a gunman

New York City officials said on Monday that the militant gunman with a gun similar to the attack killed four people inside a skyscraper in Manhattan, which includes the headquarters of the American Football Association and the offices of many major financial companies and then shot himself.

One of the four victims who killed in arms violence was an officer in the New York Police Department, 36 years old, who immigrated to the United States from Bangladesh. Mayor Eric Adams described the officer, who was on strength for 3/2 years, as a “real blue” hero.

Kyle Marshall, 38, was working in the Morgan Stanley office in a nearby garden building when his mother sent a text message to him, alerted him to an active incident, and asked whether he was fine. “Then I wrote to me the title, and I was, like, my God. This is next to my building.”
