GAZA AID showed “only women”. The killing did not stop

The distribution of food was announced in advance, just like many of it, in a social media post carrying a clarification of the smiling Palestinians receiving help boxes.

This time, however, the invitation by the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF) was different, which only includes illustrations for women.

“Tomorrow in our morning distribution on our site in the Saudi region, we do not welcome women only to attend and receive a food box.” “Men should avoid the site during this distribution.”

The GHF dietary aid distribution system has been young through scenes of a daily shrinkage of chaos and murder since its implementation in May with Israeli support and the United States.

The huge crowds are forced to follow long distances into Israeli military areas, and to enter fenced sites surrounded by private security and Israeli forces. Palestinian men often bear the risks, and wander in securing a box of food for their family.

For two million people, there are only four GHF distribution sites, but usually no more than two days on any specific day.

On Thursday, the sisters Mary and Khulila launched early at the aid point in the southern Rafih area. By the time they arrived, the scene was already chaos.

“There was a large crowd of women and it seemed that the place was out of control, and they were unable to empty and distribute aid,” said Khula. “They started spraying the women by spraying pepper, then brought thunderbolt grenades and started throwing them on the women to force them back.”

The sisters were divided into chaos. Khala’s clothes were full of spraying pepper, so she called her sister, and she agreed to meet at their brother’s house.

Soon after taking it again, I felt something not true.

Khawla said: “This time, a strange person chose, he told me that the owner of the phone had been photographed and was transferred to the Red Cross (Field Hospital).”

“I called again, and this time I was told that she had shot the head. I ran like madness and called again, but this time I was told that the owner of this phone was killed.”

Since the GHF relief system was established in late May, the United Nations says more than 1,000 Palestinians have been killed by the Israeli army while trying to get assistance near GHF distribution sites, as well as near the United Nations and other relief convoys.

On Friday, a former American soldier said with GHF that he witnessed the Israeli forces and security contractors calling the crowds.

Anthony Agilar BBC told that he had never seen this level of “brutality and the use of random force and unnecessary against the civilian population, which is unarmed residents.”

Israel has already said that its forces launched “warning footage”, and that it was carrying out “lessons learned.” He accuses Hamas of igniting chaos near the first aid points and disputes the number of deaths reported.

The paramedics at Nasser Hospital in Khan Yunis said that Marie Sheikh Al -Alaid died of a bullet in the neck. She is one of two women known for killing them on “Women’s Day” on Thursday.

BBC also spoke to the family of the second woman who was killed, Khadia Abu Anza.

One sister, Samah, with whom she was, said they were traveling to the GHF auxiliary site when an Israeli tank and forces arrived.

Samah said on Friday that it was only a meter distance. For the first time the forces fired warning shots, as they asked them to return.

“We started walking again and then we were shot,” Samah said. “They shot it in the neck and died immediately.”

“I tried to carry her and her blood fell on me, and a man helped me carry her to Nasser Hospital. The aid point was opened immediately after they shot it and let people enter.”

In response to the BBC, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said it “identified the suspects who approached them, which poses a threat to the forces” and “warning footage” early Thursday, but added that he was not aware of the losses.

She said that the shots were launched “hundreds of meters away” from the distribution site, before working hours.

A GHF spokesman said there are no accidents or death near its website on Thursday.

“In general, today it was very successful, as many mothers and girls participated,” they added.

Until May, United Nations agencies, other international organizations and charities have provided most of the aid to Gaza population in 400 distribution sites throughout the region.

The introduction of GHF was criticized by the aid community as an attempt to undermine the previous humanitarian regime and increase Israeli control of the distribution of food in Gaza, forcing people to dangerous military sites. The United Nations refuses to cooperate with the GHF system, which is called immoral.

In recent days, Israel has been condemned to the food delivery operations to Gaza on a large scale by many European governments and relief groups.

Israel says it has introduced the GHF system because Hamas was previously turning and benefiting from aid under the United Nations -led system, although it did not provide evidence to show this on a systematic basis.

Under international law, Israel, as the military authority that operates Gaza, is obligated to protect civil life – ensuring that people find food to survive. However, Israel blamed Hamas and relief agencies for the current shortage, while continuing to support the GHF distribution model.
