The Samsung Galaxy A16 is coming to the US for $200, with 6 years of updates

Samsung is bringing the $200 Galaxy A16 and the $60 Galaxy Fit 3 fitness tracker to the US, with the A16 getting six years of updates. This makes the Galaxy A16 one of the more affordable phones to get a software and security update commitment for longer than five years, which could be useful for someone looking to buy a simple phone that will be updated.

Samsung’s Galaxy A16 has already been launched in other regions, but will go on sale in the US on January 9, according to For the company’s announcement on Thursday.
