The man who was killed on the British back, Peter Falcon, dies

Bradley Murdoch, the Australian man convicted of the murder of British travelers Peter Valono in 2001.

Murdoch, 67, was serving a life sentence in a prison in Alice Springs, in the northern region of Australia.

He was treated in the hospital in Alice Springs in the last weeks of peripheral throat cancer.

The Northern Regional Regional Administration told the BBC that there was a death of a man in detention.

In 2005, Murdoch was convicted of the killing of Mr. Falcono, but he did not reveal his body’s position.

Mr. Falcono was killed, far from the highway near the northern Baru Kreik town, about 300 km (186 miles) north of Alice Springs in July 2001.

The 28 -year -old was traveling all over Australia with his girlfriend, Joan Liz, from the United Kingdom, at the time.

Marduk was also condemned by trying to kidnap and attack Mrs. Liz, who managed to escape by hiding in SCRUB Outback for several hours before she could refer to help.

Murdoch was 43 when he committed crimes.

The ordeal partially inspired the horror movie 2001 Wolf Creak.

In Australia, the police announced a new reward of $ 500,000 (240,000 pounds) for information that leads to the discovery of the remnants of the murdered British travelers.

“The police still bear the hope that someone will be able to provide some vital information to help in this research,” Acting Commander Mark Griver of the Northern Region Police said at a press conference in late June.

“We are aware of the passage of the time that happened, but it has never been late to reach this conversation with the police and start it with the police,” Grave said.

He said that the press conference had “took many methods” to Murdoch, including in June, but he said that “unfortunately … on all occasions, he chose not to communicate with the police.”

The leader, the Chargé d’Affaires, said that he wanted “at least an attempt to bring some decision to the Peter family by bringing his remains to the house” – and said they spoke to the family about the reward.
