On May 15, a pro -Palestinian demonstration was held in Berlin to celebrate the seventy -seventh anniversary of Nazba, ethnic cleansing and expel the Palestinians from their homeland. What is revealed on that day was not just a state of police violence, but rather a coordinated effort by the German authorities, the media and politicians to turn imagination into a fact in order to criminalize the Palestinian protest.
According to a general statement issued by Berlin Police One of the demonstrators assaulted one of his officers, which caused a serious injury and hospitalization. The police claimed that the officer was dragged into the crowd, intentionally attacked or knocked on the ground, then tucked or kneeled by the demonstrators. The message was clear: the demonstrators supporting the Palestinians are violent, irrational and two danger.
But this entire story is a lie.
Video evidence, strictly analyzed by JennisIt is an independent research agency founded and established by members of criminal architecture, which has an unambiguous limit in each of the Berlin Police claims. The footage shows an officer bearing the number Be24111 written on the back of his unified h for the crowd with colleagues to arrest a protester. While they pushing people around them, be24111 begins to hit the demonstrators in the head and kick them. He appears to hurt himself during this violent convenience and retreat with his colleagues.
There is no violent mob. Nobody drags him to the crowd. No one knocks it on the ground. No one kills him. On the contrary, the shots show the demonstrators themselves actively protecting each other from the Be24111 attack. The officer, not the crowd that carried out the violence.
Despite the fact that is discovered, the damage has already occurred.
The false narration of the Berlin police was exaggerated by the media and government officials, to launch a wave of political fear and opportunism. The representative of the Police Union appeared on the Wilt TV channel and described the demonstrators as a “gang of killers” who “would kill the officer if they could.”
The Tabloid Bild managed to read the title: “The Jews kick from the police officers” and quoted Stephen Woo from the German Police Union as saying: “When a colleague is dragged into a crowd of the crowd and praises, and the loss of consciousness several times, we must say that it is good luck that he had survived from the night (…)
The Public Prosecutor’s Office stated that it was “an attack on members of the rule of law” and launched an official investigation into the incident on “serious physical harm” and “serious violation of peace”. People who have been assaulted by the police may now face criminal prosecution based on the events that have never occurred.
The Federal Interior Minister of Germany, Alexander Dobrint, also seized this moment, and announced in Bundestag: “An officer has been dragged in an anti -Israel offer in Berlin to a crowd by aggressive demonstrators and seriously injured … The police need the best possible equipment and appropriate powers. We will clarify this in the law.”
The state is not just riding lies. It is also determined to use it to legislate repression. This is part of its comprehensive strategy to criminalize activity, protest and pro -Palestinians under the guise of fighting extremism.
On June 10, less than a month after the incident, the State Office for the Protection of the Constitution, a state security agency, issued its report for 2024, which classified many pro -Palestinians organizations as “extremist” groups, including the Jewish voice for a fair peace, the girl, and the Palestinian speaking. This classification is likely to lead to more intense monitoring, potential police raids on group members, and even prohibiting organizational activities.
Other groups have already been banned. In May 2024, the Duisburg Solidarity Palestine Association was banned and its website was closed by the Ministry of Interior in North Ryan Westphalia. Before that, in November 2023, the federal government banned the supportive group of the Palestinians, Samidoun.
The state came after groups not only but also individuals. In April, three citizens from the European Union and one American citizen They were threatened With deportation for their pro -Palestinians. A year ago, Dr. Ghassan Abu Sita, the UK -based Palestinian surgeon, was prevented from entering the country to speak at an event.
My husband and I put a black list after we were supposed to talk about the same event. For a year now, we have been interrogated, harassed, and invaded research every time we travel outside the country.
Various “symbols” of supportive solidarity of the Palestinians were also suppressed. The phrase “From the River to the Sea, Palestine will be free” by a Berlin judge in August 2024, claimed that support for terrorism. After that, in a more chilling step, Berlin banned all the chants of the Arabic language in the demonstrations in April this year, criminalizing an entire language and silencing the entire societies, especially that Palestinian, which is the largest in Europe.
Meanwhile, the police brutality in pro -Palestinian demonstrations in Germany has become annoyingly routine. Researchers are washed regularly, beaten, and arrested without reason or interpretation. What might seem exceptional in the past is a standard operation now.
The battle for the end of the German collusion in the genocide is violently suppressed, whether in the streets or in the courts. The monitoring of the state, racist police, violent erosion of civil freedoms is implemented under the wrong public safety banner.
While the German state continues to claim that it is “atone for its past” by taking strict measures on the anti -generals protests, in Gaza, the genocide is going in full force. The bombings continue, young children come to death, and aid applicants are slaughtered in relief distribution areas. The Israeli army is pushing forward plans to create a large camp to focus for Palestinians in the southern Gaza Strip in preparation for their ethnic cleansing.
Acting to stop this terror was not more urgent.
In these dark times, those who remain silent about the lies and suppression of the German state should look carefully at what they are fighting. Today, the activists supporting the Palestinians and members of the conscience may be criminalized, but tomorrow will be. German democracy collapses, and the state’s repression in a racist society of demonstrators will not stop.
