FTSE 100 has reached 9000 points for the first time in its history, as UK shares benefit from global investors who wander away from the United States and the trade deal in London with Washington.

The UK’s stock index outperformed each of S & P 500 Stoxx EUROPE 600 until now this year, after 10.3 percent has risen.

The United Kingdom reached a partial trade agreement with the United States in early May, which some analysts say has gave the London market an advantage over its European peers.

“We have a commercial deal, of some kind or another. This gives a degree of comfort to investors,” Nil Perle, the UK’s chief investment official in the UK.

“People are astonished by Europe, so the United Kingdom is almost” a safe haven “from the evaluation perspective.”

However, Pearl said that the narrow financial position of the UK government is still an obstacle to further growth.
