US President Russia threatened with 100 percent secondary definitions if the war in Ukraine did not end soon, as he announced an agreement with NATO allies to send more weapons to Kiev.

During a meeting in the Oval Office with NATO Secretary -General Mark Roti on Monday, the US president said he was “very happy” with Moscow because he did not advance towards an agreement to end the conflict.

“We are very happy – I – with Russia,” Trump said. “I am disappointed by President Putin, because I thought we would face a deal two months ago.”

He added: “We will make a severe tariff if we do not have a 50 -day deal, and a 100 percent tariff, you were calling it a secondary tariff.” He said that the definitions will be “biting” and “very very strong”.

Trump has previously sparked the possibility of applying the so -called secondary tariffs, which will apply fees to countries that are trading with Moscow, as it has become increasingly frustrated by Putin’s talks in Salam.

During the White House meeting on Monday, Trump also confirmed weapons sending plans to Ukraine, including Patriot Missile Systems.

The US President said that “billions of dollars” of military equipment “will be purchased by NATO allies from the United States, and that” it will be quickly distributed on the battlefield “in Ukraine.
