Officials said Russia bombed Ukraine with hundreds of drones and missiles throughout the night until Saturday as part of a whistle bombing campaign that killed at least six people and wounded dozens.
Two people died and 26 died when the Russian forces overnight attacked the Bokovina region in the Chirinvisi area in southwestern Ukraine with four drones and a missile. He said that the two died of drones.
The governor of the regional state Maxim Kozetsky said another drone attack in the West Leviv region in Ukraine was wounded by 12 people. The long -term Russian attacks coincided with a concerted effort to penetrate parts of the front line about 1000 km (620 miles), as the Ukrainian forces are under severe pressure.
The Russian Ministry of Defense said it had shot down 33 Ukrainian drones overnight until Saturday.
Local officials said that a person was wounded on Saturday in a Ukrainian drone strike on the Russian region of Beljorod and another in the Kursk region, both of which are the borders of Ukraine.
