Katie Taylor defeated Amanda Serrao unanimously to defend the undisputed light light championship and complete a clean survey of three wins in a trilogy.
After the engagement of 10 tours in WBO, WBC, IBF and WBA 140 lb in Madison Square Garden, Taylor, the winner of 97-93, was announced on two referees, while the third got it even at 95-95.
This competition was close to the two, after Taylor won a division decision in the first match and a narrow victory in the second.
Returning to Madison Square Garden, their first battle site, Taylor improved her record to 25-1 (6) in a seizure that may not have been exciting like the first, but she was very close to communication.
Sirano is expected to be 47-4-1 (31), Taylor does not hurt on this occasion, to be the final battle for the husband.
It was a festive atmosphere in front of another crowd sold from more than 19,000 divided between Irish and Portorico fans with the historical scene that hosts its first card. Serrao was all smiling at the picnic of a happy episode with Nix dancers.
There was barely any meaningful punches in the first round. By the third, they were trading clips, both of which were down. But it seems that Sirano is fighting more cautious than it was before Taylor, while maintaining a distance to her, and perhaps cautious about the heads she left in her second battle.
Taylor looked at controlling the center of the circuit and fell some good regular shots, drawing Siro.
Several rounds could have been going in both cases where the battle was built to a tense peak, as Sirano advanced forward than Taylor forced on an angle in the fifth round, but the hero fought her way.
Taylor was marked under the right eye on the eighth, but he occupied the last two rounds to secure the ruling.
After excluding a fourth meeting with Puerto Rico, Taylor Taylor was about whether to continue to fight.
“I don’t know, I just don’t want to fight Amanda Serrao again. She is punchering strongly,” she said after the match.
“I have a lot of respect for Amanda, she is a warrior. It is a pleasure to share her ring with her.
“We have made history three times. We make history forever.
“I thought I was in very smart boxing, she was not able to catch me a lot tonight. But she was always close to Amanda.”
Sirano reflected that she tried to work “more intelligent and not difficult” this time against Taylor.
She said: “We tried to stay with long punches and one duo, and it wasn’t enough.”
Savanna Marshall suffered a shock when she returns to boxing. After a stay in MMA, Marshall, who had previously worked as an inverted hero in medium weight, in front of Shadasia Green, lost the title of IBF and WBO over 168 pounds.
The decision was divided. One of the judges was granted the battle 96-93 to Marshall, but the American Green Judgment obtained the ruling 95-94 and 96-93 by other judges despite the deduction of the pregnancy.
Eli Skottni ended the Mexican Crown Prince Merkado for six years as a world champion for his weight in WBC with a unanimously comprehensive referee.
The 27-year-old CATFORD added the title of WBC to the IBF and WBO crowns with the victory of Resolution 100-90, 98-82 and 98-82.
The Chantil Cameron of England, former world champion in the world, had a comfortable decision unanimously over Jessica Camara, while Ramla Ali returned to the ring a year after the unanimous referee on Lila Fortado.
The American Alicia Boumerganner kept its title in vain of the weight of the nomads, with a unanimous decision on Jennifer Miranda.
