State officials said that 150 people are still missing in the province of Texas, five days after the deadly and destroyed floods were injured in parts of the state, and hope fades until the survivors are found.
The missing people in Kiir Solid County include five camp and consultants from mystic camp, a Christian summer camp, all-girls located on the banks of the Guadalopy River.
At least 119 people died in the disaster, according to the latest boycott fees. The authorities confirmed that 95 were in the Kurville area.
Texas is not alone. The neighboring New Mexico witnessed a Flash flooding state on Tuesday as well, causing the death of at least three people.
Officials said that up to 8.8 cm (3.5 inches) of the rain fell there, causing the river water to be flooded in the village of Rodiuu. This flood has now declined.
In Texas, heavy search and rescue efforts continue with the governor of emergency crew Greg Abbott “will not stop until everyone is missing.”
Abbott added that it is very likely to be added more to the list in the coming days, and he urged people to report any person who believe that the missing persons have not been met.
Gen. Thomas Swilezer of the National Guard in Texas said that the search efforts were using helicopters in Xinuk and Black Hawk with rescue cranes.
He said that there are 13 Black Hawk helicopters help in the search voltage, including four Arkansas. The authorities were also using Riber drones.
The respondents from various agencies work together on rescue efforts. They include agents from the boundaries of Patrol, the Federal Investigation Office and the National Guard.
More than 250 respondents from various agencies in the Kerrville region were appointed alone to help search and rescue.
One of these rescue volunteers, named Tim, told the BBC that he had not seen any destruction in this scale before.
“The floods in East Texas and Southeast Texas, hurricanes, have done a nightmare,” he said.
Another rescue volunteer, named Justin, compared efforts to “try to find one straw in a straw pile.”
“There is a wide path of destruction of miles, and there is not enough bodies to go beyond all of this,” he told the BBC.
“It is difficult to reach a lot of heavy machines. Men try to choose them with tools and hands, and they do not even put no effort.”
Questions were raised about whether the authorities had made sufficient warnings of the pre -disaster floods, and why people were not evacuated earlier.
Experts say that there are a number of factors that contributed to the tragedy in Texas, including harsh weather, home and timing location.
Abbott, who spent part of the day in wiping the flood area, said that the authorities issued a warning from the storm and knew about a possible flash, but “he did not know the size of the storm.”
He said that no one knows that he would lead to “a 30 -foot tsunami.”
The ruler answered a question about who was “blame” on the huge number of dead, saying: “This is the choice of the word losers.”
He likened an athlete, saying that American football teams are making mistakes; The hero’s teams are the ones who do not “direct fingers”.
Most of the victims died in the province of Kiir, where the Guadalobi River was swollen due to heavy rains before Friday, the fourth year in July.
Camp Mestic earlier confirmed at least 27 girls and employees among the dead.
Those who survived now focus on trying to rebuild.
Justin Brown lived along the Guadalpe River for more than 25 years.
A week ago, he lived in his mobile home in the Blue Oak RV park with his young daughters and dog. Now, there is a huge pool where his house was once stood – RV was swept in floods.
“We were one of the few parks that took almost everyone,” Brown told the BBC.
He said he looked at the empty land where he stood up to his home once – now just a wreck – he said he hoped to return as soon as possible.
President Donald Trump will travel to the areas that the floods pushed with the first lady Melania Trump on Friday.
In the neighboring New Mexico, National Weather Service (NWS) announced a Flash Flash Flash Emergency Staff on Tuesday and ordered that Roidoso residents are at maximum alert of floods.
NWS said the flooding wave in Rio Roidoso continued to rise 15 feet. The houses were clouded in the river, and a man and two children were killed.
The officials there were working with boats to save people who were congestion. The selection of a number of local population has been canceled from Tuesday evening.
