Castleford Tigers dismissed the main coach Danny McGueri.
McGuire was responsible for nine months in what was his first time as a full -time main coach.
The former Leeds Renos star was a temporary coach at Hull KR after Tony Smith’s departure in 2022 before returning to his assistant role.
Then he joined the tigers for the 2025 season and was responsible for 17 games, but he won only four.
