Chloe Kelly joins Arsenal from Manchester City in a permanent deal

Chloe Kelly took a permanent step to Arsenal, the club where the football trip began, after admiration during a loan from Manchester City.

The 27 -year -old striker played a major role in the Champions League victory for Arsenal over Barcelona in May, and he is now scheduled to stay in northern London.

Now Arsenal player is officially again, Kelly joins her childhood after her contract with Manchester City has completed.

She said: “I have always said that Arsenal supporters are the best and to be on my side, and they sing my name, I mean a lot to me.”

“I am excited about more silver tools in this private club and return more awards to North London to celebrate with our supporters.”

The Lioneses star, currently part of the EURO 2025 team in England, returns to a familiar environment, and has already won the praise of the Arsenal Renee Slegers coach, who praised Kelly’s contribution during the last half of last season.

“I have played an important role in what we have achieved here last season and I know that she is participating our ambition to compete for more,” said Sielters. “She has caused a big impact during her time with us.”

Kelly’s recent offers helped increase their value, especially because she fought for a few minutes before the 2024-25 season in the city, as it runs only one start in the Premier League.

She is concerned about her place in England and increasingly frustrating her, Kelly’s desire to leave Manchester City was well documented during the transfer window in January.

Her departure was not controversial. The London -born striker, who joined City in 2020, expressed her dissatisfaction with how the club was dealing with her exit, saying that she felt that she was limiting her options to choose a new team.

She moved to Instagram during that period, and she wrote that she wanted to be happy again. “She did not see her future in the city after the summer.

Despite the difficulties, her return to Arsenal proved her success, and she peaked in a prominent performance against Barcelona in Lisbon, which got European glory.

In a farewell message that was published on social media, Kelly presented a reflection at the time in Manchester: “I want to take this moment to recognize my virtue in my time in the city.

“Fixed support from fans and relationships that were formed with girls and broader support staff. I have helped form me to become the person I am today, I will be grateful forever (for these people).

“Memories created and the lessons learned. All stories must have happy ends, and now it’s time to look at the future. Love for everyone.”

During her time in Manchester City, Kelly appeared in 109 games and got 31 goals. It includes honors the 2019-20 Cup and the 2021-22 League Cup.
