Donald Trump has suggested that the US government should study any subsidies distributed to the Elon Musk Trade Empire, claiming that “large funds” can be provided.

In a post on the social truth platform early on Tuesday, Trump said: “Elon may get more than any person in history, largely, and without subsidies, Elon may have to close the store and return to South Africa.”

In response to Trump’s proposal, Musk said in a post on his social media platform: “I literally say cut everything. Now.”
