The Palestinians in the north of Gaza reported one of the worst nights of the Israeli bombing in weeks after the army issued mass evacuation orders on Monday, while Israeli officials in Washington were scheduled to acknowledge the new shooting by the Trump administration.
A day after US President Donald Trump urged to end the 20 -month -old war, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was expected to be at the White House for talks on the ceasefire in Gaza and Iran and wider diplomatic deals.
But on the ground in the Palestinian pocket, there was no sign of fighting.
