With the high global and protectionist equations, the head of the Mahindra Group Anand Mahindra Indian companies urged the seizure of this moment, and described the volatile environment today as the modern “Samudra Manshan”-the cosmic plateau that produced both the deadly poison and the gathering.

In his message to shareholders, Mahindra referred to the “volatile” situation with the “provocative neighbor” in India, which alludes to tensions with China, but he expressed optimism that India could confirm itself without hindering its economic rise.

He said: “The situation with our provocative neighbor is always volatile, but I am optimistic that we can show the limits of our tolerance without obstructing our way to economic rise.”

Mahandra believes that the world is subject to another major beating led by huge trends such as protectionism, geopolitical reorganization, and advanced global supply chains.

He said: “There is an increasing wave of protectionism in challenging decades of liberal trade orders, which highlighted through the Trump administration tariff,” warning that companies should adapt to a world in which traditional alliances change and form new economic blocs.

Despite the potential opposite winds – including high input costs, broken supply chains, and commercial weaknesses in India – Mahindra sees opportunities for this disorder. He referred to China’s hostile position as an incentive for India to put itself as an applicable alternative in global supply chains, but he urged speed and focus.

“The speed and lightness of movement are necessary, because countries like the Philippines and Vietnam Trugkan are already as future manufacturing centers. We must behave quickly and strategy to secure our share of Amrit,” said Mahindra.

In the Mahindra Group, flexibility remains the basic strategy, which is embodied by what Mahandra called the “Banyan Tree” – where basic companies act as a trunk, and new projects grow as air roots that can flourish independently with the support of the entire ecological system.

“This structure provides light movement and flexibility to adapt quickly with geopolitical and economic uncertainty,” Mehindra noted.

He emphasized that aligning the goals of work with national priorities such as renewable energy, defense and digital infrastructure will be essential because India aims to transform the manufacturing power.

“Companies can greatly benefit from their strategies with national goals. Renewable energy, defense and digital infrastructure have become sunrise industries in India.”

He concluded that the flexibility of the Mahindra Group will move, saying: “With the embrace of the upcoming opportunities and challenges, I am sure that your company, as an integral part of the Panian tree from the Mahindra Group, will continue to grow and move in Samodra Manshan successfully.”

Meanwhile, the CEO of Mahindra Group and MD Anish Shah highlighted the group’s flexibility and deliberate expansion, similar to his journey to the fixed growth of the Banyan tree. Despite the universal geopolitical and economic uncertainty, Mahendra still focuses on its values and the payment of the economic momentum of India, as it operates over 70 % of the country’s gross domestic product.

FY25 witnessed a strong performance, as the revenues increased by 14 % to 1,59,211 rupees and profit after taxes by 20 % to 12,929 rupees, driven by gains in the auto and farms sectors, the launch of successful electrical SUVs, and strong results in Tech Mahindra Finance.

Besides the financial statements, Mahindra continues to focus on creating a common value, driven by its colleagues and actions led by the purpose. Initiatives such as Capel, enabling women with livelihood skills, NANHI KALI, and supporting education for deprived girls, emphasize the group’s social impact, and won international awards such as driving position in the Sustainable Dow Jones and Golden Peacock Award. “We are growing, as is always the case, with design.”
