Deontay Wilder achieved a winning return to the ring and has claimed his first victory since 2022 after the completion of the dominant TKO in the seventh round of Tyrrell Herndon in Kansas.
Wilder (44-4-1, 43 KOS) was beaten in four of his previous five confrontations, including successive losses against Joseph Parker and Zilli Zhang, although he ended this in Charles Koch Square.
The “The Bonze Bomber” scored an unconvincing judge in a second when Hendon was arrested outside the balance by a left hook, with Wilder at the forefront in the early rounds although his opponent did not harm his registration requests.
Wilder changed a pace at the sixth, with a series of shots against the ropes that forced a second knockout, although Hendon had survived the tour to extend the competition.
Ultimately, the referee in Hirdon stopped in the last minute of the seventh round, after taking his right right hands in a quick sequence from Wilder and showing a small mark on finding his way to the competition.
“I felt comfortable,” said Wilder after the battle. “I have put a long time restoring myself together, and it was a long way for me. I’m just happy to return to the ring, you know. This is a new start for me.”
Can Wilder Joshua face?
Among the potential battles in the future for Wilder, a long -standing student with Anthony Joshua, the couple previously approached the meeting at various points during their career.
I recently told Joshua Edi Herne Sky Sports: “I know that it is (Wilder) a name mentioned.
“There is a possibility that AJ can fight Deontay Wilder in October, November, December, then fight Tyson France, then he got a full group in terms of all the heavy elite in this generation, faced in the circuit.”
I told Wilder Director to participate, Chilean Fenkel Sky Sports Before winning Friday: “The first first thing is Friday. If things go well, we are open to discuss anything.”
“We have a plan we set for this year and we will adhere to it. We receive a lot of calls and in the heavyweight section, you are always one battle away from a battle on the title. We want to take our time and we will do it with the return,” Wilder said after his victory.
