The real Betis still contemplates a “very complex” deal for Manchester United Anthony

Real Betis is still optimistic that they could secure a deal for Manchester United wing Anthony, although its sports manager Mano Vagardo describes her as a “very complex operation.”

Anthony spent the second half of last season on loan in Betis and it was an unambiguous success, where he scored nine goals and gave five passes to help them get sixth place in Laliga and reach the final of the conference league, which lost them against Chelsea.

Betis wants to return Anthony to Estadio Benito Villamarin, where the Brazilian striker looked at a priority by United as they look forward to avoiding loss under PSR rules in the Premier League.

However, the CEO of Betis Ramon Alarcon said last month that they would try to sign Antony on loan again.

This approach may complicate matters, but Vagardo still hopes that Betis can secure Anthony’s services again, as the player did not hide from his desire to return to it.

“We all have to realize that this is a very complex process,” Vagardo told Estadio Debortivo. “Given the player’s level and his last professional life in Real Betis, it is not an easy treatment.

“However, as long as Anthony has not adhered to a third party, we, with the utmost humility, will play our cards to be able to choose Anthony.

“I insist, although it is a complex process, we will try to carry out in different ways without compromising the club. In the end, the most important thing is also the sustainability of the club.

“We will try to be creative, as we were in the past, so that Anthony can be here. Today, the market is open, as I said before, it’s very dynamic, and we are part of that game.

“This does not surprise me (Anthony wants to return to Betis). I would like to take this opportunity again to highlight the work that Real Real Madrid is doing as a whole, in all departments.

“When the player arrives here and has an immediate effect, this is not a coincidence. It is a result of work, sacrifice and seriousness between both concerned on a daily basis. Not only until Anthony can perform and provide his best, but so that all the players who join Betis can.”
