Carsley descends “distinguished” players after Lions Young Lions reaches the Euro Final, respectively

Director Lee Carsley praised his “distinguished” players, as England U21S arrived in the second consecutive European Championship final.

Harvey Elliott from Liverpool, who was also part of the Leones’ youth team, which raised the cup two years ago, scored at temperatures in Bratislava. Carsley team excelled in the Netherlands 2-1.

In something of the repetition of the semi -finals of the men in the euro last year in Germany, Elliot England gave the lead after an hour before Noah, Oyeo, was excluded after 10 minutes.

But where Olkins was the England champion 12 months ago, it was the Reds midfielder who stole the show here, as the winner of a single effort with five minutes remained.

The result means England’s progress to the final on Saturday, where they will try to defend their crown against France or Germany, who have already faced the group stage of the championship.

“I thought the team was great,” Carsley told Channel 4 after the match.

“I thought the way we started the game was really exciting. They were disappointed (England players) in the first half without registration, but I thought the second half played with real flexibility.

“We had to defend the box and James had to save some good rescue. But we stood up and overwhelmed the line. It shows the importance of the entire team. I believed that the submarines that had an impact also. So we could look to the final.”

The England coach also distributed praise to Elliot, whose experience and shows were essential to the team’s success.

“Harvey (Elliot) and Charlie (Cristill) did not play a lot of minutes in the last campaign. We knew how important it is. They took it on the plane, and the responsibility of driving the rest of the team.

“Harvey was great. It’s one of the many who really stood. James Makati, Jay Stanfield – you can go to the team. They are developing as a team and a team.

“It is a shame that we only have one game because I think this team is great.”

With high temperatures exceeding 30 degrees Celsius before the novice Carsley also reveals how to prepare his young stars for 90 minutes at the temperature.

“We knew it would be hot,” Carly said. “We have done all our training sessions during the hottest part of the day to prepare for this type of events.

“We did not arrange it away from the sun, we have been exposed to it. Even to give the players the opportunity to shower after training and exposure to heat.”

Before the final match this week, which kicks off at 20:00 (UK timing), Karsley’s look was simple: “We are trying not to worrying much about the opposition. Our team is the most important.”
