Real Madrid coach Alonso claims that Rudiger is subject to racist abuse during the World Cup victory over Bashuka

Real Madrid manager Xabi Alonso confirmed that Antonio Rudiger reported that he had suffered a racist accident during his 3-1 victory in the World Cup against the Mexican Bashuka.

The confrontation took place at the time of stopping when Rudger clashed with Captain Bashuka Gustavo Kabral, claiming that he stumbled in accumulation.

When he asked to clarify what happened on the field, Alonso addressed the media: “We have informed Tony about something. We have to wait and see now. I think the FIFA protocol has been activated for the investigation.

“But if something happens, measures should be taken and supported by Antonio because this is unacceptable.

“There is no tolerance with this at any level of football, and whenever it happens, measures must be taken. This is what Antonio told us and believe in it.”

The aforementioned FIFA protocol is a three -step procedure that includes stopping the match, suspending it temporarily, and eventually abandoning it if racist behavior continues.

“He has no prior knowledge of the accident.

“I did not talk to Cabral on this. I cannot explain you about this topic because this is the first (I heard) this news. I cannot justify it.

“I knew him for a short time and have never heard of such a thing with Pachuca players. I cannot defend my leader at any cost, but I will talk about it.”

This is not the first time that Rudger has talked about the case. In 2021, while playing with Chelsea, he expressed his frustration of the lack of effectiveness of racism in football, saying “nothing is really changing” but he pledges to “continue” against discrimination.
