Air organizer, Director General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), ordered immediate action against three senior officials of Air India after serious and repeated violations related to the schedule of the flight staff.

On June 21, DGCA ordered the airline to remove three officials, including a senior aviation official, for “the systematic failure of the staff scheduling, monitoring compliance and internal accountability.”
The officials named Tathi Singh, Deputy Head of the Department; Pinky Mittal, Director – DOPS, Candidate Stand; Payal Arra, Candidate Standing – Planning.
According to the DGCA ranking, these individuals participated in several lapses, including unauthorized and unauthorized pairs, violations of licensing standards, staff comfort and systematic failure in supervision.
