Giorgio Armani is absent from the Milan Fashion Week for the first time

Fashion legend Giorgio Armani will miss his display at Milan Fashion Week for the first time in his career.

His company said in a statement that the 90 -year -old Italian designer “is currently recovering at home.” Italian media reported that his recovery follows a brief stay in the hospital in Milan.

The company added that “work with a usual dedication to the groups” and will follow the men’s clothing shows on Saturday and Monday.

This is the first time that Armani has been absent from one of the platform’s events, in a five -year profession. Last year, he could retire in the coming years.

Next week the offers will offer the summer spring collections 2026 from its luxury brand, which has a title.

The ARMANI collaborator has long been appointed and the head of men’s clothing design, Leo del’orco, to give the closing brackets.

Armani is said to be in good moral condition and is expected to attend the upcoming brand offers in Paris at the end of June.

The brand was established in 1975, and it celebrates the fiftieth anniversary of its founding next month – where Armani also celebrates his birthday 91.

Armani, also known as “Ring Giorgio” – built an empire in the luxury fashion industry.

He was born in the northern Italian town of Bayasinza in 1934, he studied medicine before he started a fashion profession and in the end the brand was launched with his late partner, Sergio Gallowe.

The fashion house contains many different lines that have also expanded in high -end fashion, ready -to -wear fashion, accessories, cosmetics, jewelry, interior design, and luxury hotels in cities such as Milan, Paris, New York, Tokyo, Seoul and Shanghai.
