All members of K-Pand Band BTS 7 have finished military service, with SUGA emptying

Soga, rapper and songwriter Global K-Pop Sensation BTS, was demobilized from the compulsory military service of South Korea, which represents the official return of all seven members of their duties in recruitment.

The brand confirmed that Suja completed the alternative service duties on Wednesday after using his remaining vacation. The official exit date is Saturday.

Big Hit Entertainment Agency, Big Hit Entertainment, said that no events have been planned to release SUGA, motivated by paying attention to overcrowding.

It is an important occasion for fans of the K-POP group, which rose to international success in 2018 when it became the first South Korean group to reach the first rank on the American albums scheme.

The group is known for visits such as Obesity and dynamiteWhich was the first K-Pop track for the first time ranked first on Billboard Hot 100.

The seven singers are planning to reunite them as a group at some point in 2025, after they finished their service. They originally announced a break from the activities of the group in 2022.

Last week, members came out of RM and V from the South Korean army after fulfilling their compulsory service. Jimin and Jong Cook were unloaded a day later, and hundreds of fans – known as the army – gathered to capture a glance. All four were recruited in December 2023.

Six of the seven group members served in the army, while Suja achieved his duty as a social service factor, which is an alternative form of military service.

Jin, the oldest BTS member, was unloaded in June 2024. J-HPE was unloaded in October.

The mandatory service includes K-POP stars

In South Korea, all men between the ages of 18 and 28 under the law are required to perform 18-21 months of military service under a recruitment system aimed at deterring aggression from North Korea competing.

Exemptions can be given for medical reasons, but the law also gives special exemptions to classic and traditional athletes, and the ballet and other dancers if they receive better prizes in some competitions and are evaluated for enhancing the national status. K-POP stars and other artists are not subject to such privileges.

However, in 2020, BTS postponed its service until the age of thirty, after the South Korean National Assembly reviewed the Military Service Law, allowing the K-POP stars to delay their recruitment until the age of 30.

There was a hot public debate in 2022 on whether special exemptions for compulsory military service will be provided to the BTS members on a large scale, until the group’s management agency announced in October 2022 that all seven members will fulfill their duties.
