The APOLLO giant APOLLO is scheduled to provide a loan of 4.5 billion pounds (6 billion dollars) to deliver a deficiency facing the Hinkley Project project in the United Kingdom.

The deal was reported for the first time before Financial times Friday, with the support of two sources talking to CNBC, provided that his identity is not disclosed due to the sensitivity of the issue.

The construction of the Hinkley Point C Factory, the first nuclear power plant that was built in Britain for decades, was postponed several times and enlarged the budget.

A source said that APOLLO will provide a debt financing package that is not guaranteed to the project at a rate of less than 7 %.

The owner of the majority of Apollo and Hinkeli Point refused to comment.

The deal will be among the largest private capital investments in the UK National Authority project.

One of the sources told CNBC that APollo was “a” chance of a deal for several weeks and was “deep in talks with EDF”.

This is an urgent news story and will be updated soon.
