Amazon, UK, is under investigation of suspected payment delays

Broke control in the UK launched an investigation on whether Amazon delayed payments for food suppliers after her “initial evidence” was caught.

“It has reasonable reasons for examining” Amazon has delayed payments for suppliers between March 2022 and June 2025, “said the grocery law judge, which helps to guarantee the largest grocery stores in the United Kingdom.

GCA said it would look at the nature, extent and influence of practices that may lead to the delay of Amazon payments, and will be particularly focused on this period since January 2024 to provide them.

Amazon did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
