Air India cancels eight local international flights for operational reasons; More to be canceled

Air India canceled four international and four local flights due to “reinforced and operational causes”. This comes at a time when the transport company plans to reduce 38 international flights per week and suspend services on three external roads between June 21 and July 15.

International flights AI906 from Dubai to Chennai, AI308 from Delhi to Melbourne, AI309 from Melbourne to Delhi, and AI2204 from Dubai to Hyderabad on Friday, as well as local AI874 local flights from Pune to Dehi, AI456 from ahmedabad to Dehi, AI-28, AI-Sumbad, AI571 from Chennai to Mumbai.

The airline has announced that it will reduce 38 international flights per week, and services are attached to three external roads for about three weeks. The TATA group airline said that the cuts aim to restore the stability of the schedule and reduce the inconvenience of the last minute of travelers after turmoil after the crash of a plane 12 June in Ahmedabad.

The airline will suspend services on Delhi Nairobi, Amritsar-London (GATWICK), and Goa (MOPA)-London (GATWICK) until July 15. The Nairobi has four flights per week, while Amritsar-Lindon and Joa Lindon have three weekly flights. In addition, flights will be reduced to 18 international roads connecting cities in North America, Europe, Australia and the Far East.

The affected North American roads include Delhi Toronto, Delhi Vancouver, Delhi San Francisco, Delhi Chicago, and Delhi Washington. The services were also cut in Delhi-Melbourne, Delhi Sidney, Delhi Tukio Hanida and Delhi Seoul (Intech).

Air India said that the cuts are caused by pre -trivial safety tests and additional flights due to the closure of the airspace in the Middle East. The CEO and Managing Director, Campbell Wilson, stated that the airline will continue these safety checks on Boeing 787 and 777 fleets as a confidence -building measure.

Air India is connected to affected passengers to provide residence on alternative trips, free renovation or full recovered amounts according to their preferences.
