He had a great sense of fun, was very mischievous, absolutely fun loving but also kind and thoughtful and always cared about his friends and kept in touch with everyone.” !
When he visited me… he brought me the best ham/Scottish egg pies and the only crossword we’ve exchanged over the years, was related to #HandbagGate when he hid a plate full of goujons in my handbag at the London Games Festival launch party… I opened my handbag in… Meeting the next day smelled extremely bad and ruined my bag!
Hirani added: “I find it funny now but I didn’t find it so funny at the time! Needless to say, lovely Martin sent me a beautiful new leather handbag as an apology… I’m going to dig out that handbag he bought me about 20 years ago, and I’m going to cherish it.” More for now! Goodbye, beautiful man… You’re sure to enjoy the hell out of it, party, order a big round of drinks, cuddle the dogs, and play Perudo wherever you are!
