Air India Plane Crash: Black box of AI 171 to be sent to us to recover data

India will send the Black Fund for the Shattered Index to the United States for analysis. Digital Trip Data Registrar (DFDR) will be extracted in the National Safety Transport Council (NTSB) in Washington.

The registrar is exposed to heavy external damage, making it impossible to extract data in India. While the Aircraft Investigation Office in India established a laboratory at its headquarters in Delhi last year, it does not have the ability to extract data from registrars that were severely damaged.

The NTSB team will transfer the records to their laboratory under protection and supervision from Indian officials to ensure the appropriate protocols. The data will then be shared with AAIB.

The UK air accident investigation branch will also be present with 53 British citizens among the deceased passengers.

Since the recorder has been damaged, the slide will need to be extracted by removing the memory plate to prevent further damage to the data. The electronic circuit of damage will also be evaluated.

Investigators examine many possibilities, including whether the panels on the wings have been properly extended and why the landing equipment has been published. It is also achieved in possible electronic failure or fuel pollution that can cause engines closing.

AAIB Investigation Bureau (AAIB) has not been an investigation committee to determine the cause of the accident. In front of him one month to submit a preliminary report.
