No arrests, but the G7 security forces responded to more than 200 wildlife accidents

Despite several days of the demonstrations by hundreds of demonstrators during the Group 7 Summit, the head of the security of this event said that no one had been arrested and no tickets were issued.

“Those who choose to express themselves have largely conducted themselves in a legal, peaceful and safe way,” said RCMP SUPT president. David Hall from Integrated safety and security group, During a media briefing in Calgary on Wednesday.

The huge security force was a joint operation led by RCMP, with the help of Kaljari police, Alberta mayor, Alberta Forsari, Gardens and Canadian Armed Forces.

The biggest security threat came When NORAD (North America’s Air Defense Command) forced the CF-18 fighter stamps to intercept a small civilian plane that entered the party area around the summit location in the country of Cananascis, about an hour west of Calgary.

Restrictions were placed on temporary air spaces during the summit, 30 nautical miles focusing on the village of Kananskis, and within a radius with a diameter of 20 nautical miles from Calgary International Airport.

To date, no explanation for the public has been presented about the reason for entering the aircraft to a restricted airspace.

“At this time, RCMP did not take a fee, and some of our partner agencies are seen in the applicable organizational crimes, but at this time I do not understand that any charges have been directed at this stage,” Hall said.

“If criminal charges are supposed to be charged – at this point, it is too early to say whether this is the case or not – this will be done by RCMP. However, there are other organizational crimes, which may be more suitable for circumstances at the end of the investigation, and will be managed by other monuments such as Canada Transfer.”

Supp. Brian Sondberg with Alberta Forsari and Parks said the security forces also responded to about 200 wildlife accidents in the area surrounding the summit.

“About half of these were in the value of the bear and black bear black bear,” Sondberg said. “I am very pleased to say that all of these are normally, in nature, and as a result, we were able to take the minimum measures to move the risks far away from both wildlife and bears and there were no important efforts or no important efforts.”

Sondburg said that the security crews were able to use the bear spray, the bearing tower, chalk balls and other deterrence – and in some cases dogs – to intimidate animals. They were also ready to use traps if necessary.

The final cost of the security of the summit has not been announced.

“It is important to remember that we have not finished,” Hall said. “We have a lot of work that must be done to lay off our security position- all of our organizations need a kind of operations in some of their operations, and sometimes we will determine all these costs and will be provided to the public.”
