A special correspondent, BBC Persian

Fear and tension are clear in my sister’s voice in Tehran, although the intermittent WhatsApp connection that is still – miraculously – is still working from time to time.
Clarity is what you want from me, knowing that I am a journalist with BBC in London.
“What will happen? What should we do?” You ask. US President Donald Trump said that people in Tehran should reveal. “Is it serious?”
Since Thursday night, Tehran has been in repeated shelling by Israeli aircraft, which seems to fly freely through the sky of the capital. They are met by anti-aircraft fire-which is often ineffective.
From its window on the upper floors of a tall building, my sister can see the event clearly, which does not calm down to calm her nerves.
The Israeli army has ordered people in its area – extending for several kilometers in all directions – to evacuate. But she chose to stay.
She told me that, as much as I knew, there were no military targets near her apartment bloc.
However, she was concerned about a near -commercial unit – owned, as I believed, by revolutionary guards – which may be a goal. She had no idea what the company had already done.
Many people do not know who their neighbors are or whether the military targets are close, because many revolutionary guards activity are secretly made and from hidden locations.

Electricity and water are still available in many parts of the capital, but the food supplies decrease.
She closed many stores, and more closed their doors. Even bakeries are closed – some due to a lack of flour, while others are probably because the owners escaped.
My sister refused to leave the city, unlike hundreds of thousands – perhaps millions – who already have, mostly because she does not have a place to go to.
Despite the roads full of jam and gasoline deficiency, many population has escaped in recent days.
The streets of Tehran, which were once thorned with traffic, are now calm.
Those who are still ventured, for fear of attacks.
Recent reports indicate that long waiting lists at gasoline stations have begun to mitigate, and that roads outside the capital are less crowded.
Residents living near the country’s nuclear facilities face additional fear of the spread of radioactive pollution, as these sites have been targeted again and again by Israeli strikes in recent days.
The World Nuclear Control Authority has so far said that the levels of radioactivity outside two sites were attacked and damaged on Friday.
People ask where all this will lead, and the extent of its continuation.
Many are now dependent on TV channels in Persian abroad for news.
The Persian BBC and its website became major sources. Web traffic has multiplied from inside Iran almost overnight, although the Internet is painfully slowly.
Trump has called for Iran’s surrender, but Iran’s supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khounai has just announced that Iran would not surrender.
Few Iranians sympathize with the system, but a lot of chaos and chaos can follow it if they are very destroyed.
