The only survivor puts my brother to rest at an emotional funeral

The British man, who was the only survivor of the Air India crash last week, helped put his brother to rest at a funeral in western India.

Vishwashkumar’s brother Ramish Ajay was on the fateful trip but did not survive the tragedy.

Ramish was clearly disturbed by one of the Pall holders who carried his brother’s coffin to the Holocaust in the town of Diu, and his arm and his face are still covered with white dressings. He has spent most of the past five days in the hospital.

Boeing 787-8 DREAMLINER, linked to London seconds after Thursday from the city of Ahmed Abad, Western West. At least 270 people were killed, most of them passengers.

Mr. Ramish’s mother walked with the sarcophagus in a blue sari with other mourners, as he was carrying her on his right shoulder.

Many people from the city – which lost 14 other people in the accident – went out for the funeral even when the rain criticized the procession.

No one is clear how Mr. Ramish managed to stay. He even tried to return to the burning plane to search for his brother, one of the first respondents said at the BBC.

In a new video clip that appeared earlier this week, the ambulance driver Satndand Singo Sando is the man who watched Mr. Ramish to safety while leaving the crash site with fire and thick smoke that escalates in the air behind him.

Mr. Sando, a supervisor of ambulance services in the emergency situations in Ahmedabad, says he has no idea who was helping him, or that Mr. Ramish had escaped from the plane. Only later discovered the news that the man was the only survivor of the accident.

Vishwashkumar Ramesh, 40, was 11a seat on the trip. It is said that his brother was sitting a few seats away.

All other passengers and crew were killed and nearly 30 people died on the ground after the plane was subjected to the bottom and crashed into the doctor’s hostel.

But Mr. Ramish narrowly survived, managed to get out of the debris through a hole in the fuselage.

The new video shows Sandhu, who wears a blue turban, walks to Mr. Ramish and directs it to safety.

Mr. Sando said he was lunch with his colleagues when he first noticed “a huge fire with thick smoke that rises to the sky.”

“Initially, we thought it might be a car accident or a gas cylinder explosion. Soon we learned that it was a plane crash. I immediately ordered my team to bring an ambulance, and rushed to the site.”

Speaking to the BBC Gojarati, Mr. Sando said he was only trying to do his job. In his decades’ career, he said he faced many difficult situations.

But what surprised him on that day was how Mr. Ramish continued, after his rescue, in an attempt to return to the site of the accident.

“He had no idea what he was doing. He continued to enter and get out of the complex. We told him to stop, and pulled him away to an ambulance so that he could get medical care,” said Mr. Sando.

“This is when he told me that his relative was besieged at home and wanted to save him. We did not speak a word after that.”

Mr. Ramish later told India’s news that he was trying to search for Ajay.

At the scene of the accident, Mr. Sando discovered a security goalkeeper who appeared to have had an influence. His clothes were partially burned and was assisted by Mr. Sando for the first time.

“I also saw a woman. She was screaming in terror. Her son who was running a tea booth was killed in the accident.”

Moments later, Mr. Ramish saw out of the crash in a white shirt.

Sando said he was wounded on his face, burned on his arms, and he seemed clearly upset.

“At that point, we had no idea about who was the injured man. I thought he was one of the doctors who lived in college. At a later time, when we saw the news, we realized that he was the only survivor of the accident.”

Chirag, a member of the ambulance team in Mr. Sando, told PTI that Mr. Ramish was telling someone in a video call that his relatives were on the crash site.

His first respondents treated his injuries and rushed him to the shock center in the nearby hospital.

In his interview with DD News, Mr. Ramish said he could not believe that he was alive.

“For a moment, I felt that I would die too, but when I opened my eyes and looked around, I realized that I was alive.

“I am still unbelievable how I survived. I got out of the rubble.”

The cause of the accident is not yet known. Officials are trying to decipher the flight and flying data recordings – collectively known as the Black Box – recovered from the debris to collect what happened.
