The government announced an annual travel pass through Indian highways at a price of 3000 rupees. The Minister of Land Transport and High Roads, Nitin Jadkari, announced that this passen -based pass will be effective as of August 15.
The minister added that the pass will be in effect for a year from the date of activation or for 200 trips, which comes earlier. He said this pass is exclusively designed for non -commercial private vehicles such as cars, cars and trucks.
“A dedicated link for activation and renewal will soon be provided on the Rajmarg Yatra app, as well as on the official website of NHI and Morters,” said Jadkari.
“This policy deals with long -term fears regarding Toll squares that are located in a range of 60 km and simplifying Toll payments through one treatment at reasonable prices. By reducing waiting times, mitigating congestion, and reducing conflicts in Toll Plazas, he said the annual scroll targets to connect a faster and more annoying travel experience for private vehicle owners.”
Earlier this year, Gadikari said that national highways are national origins, and the government has focused a lot on strengthening its quality and safety. He said: “We have taken measures to determine the responsibility of the contractors for strengthening the quality of construction and also to improve transparency in our system,” in dealing with a consulting workshop for the owners of the interest organized by the National Roads Authority in India.
The Minister of State for Land Transport and High Roads Ajay Tamta said that India has taken great steps in developing high -level roads and high -level roads, which greatly strengthened the country’s infrastructure. He said: “Through continuous technological developments, we are committed to the road infrastructure in India with vision 2047 and the transfer of the national highway network to the global level.”
