ASB has become a pioneer in the manufacture of Squash Court, and has maintained this position for decades, including inserting mid 2000 for a new setting on the surface of the glass and glass that has become a standard for squash competitions all over the world.
ChrostOf joined the company for his father as an executive head in 2012, and ASB began to focus on LED surfaces. The first such product was a simple ground show called “ASB Multisports” that could turn between signs of various militant sports such as basketball, volleyball and handball. By 2015, the company also developed “ASB Lumiflex”, an LED FULLER display that was roaming in Orlando.
The company turned the focus on obtaining official approval from Fiba, the ruling basketball body in the world, during the Covid-19 pandemic, and in 2022 it succeeded when Fiba changed the permissible official gameplay grammar to include glass in addition to traditional wood. The first official ASB event was the U -19 Women’s World Cup in 2023.
Modern client facilities include European basketball teams, Bayern Munich and Banathenaxus, both of whom played all their home matches during the 2024-25 season on ASB stadiums; NBA All-Star Weekend 2024 in Indiana, which used ASB for several events including Dunk and Three Point competitions; “Great Blue Madness” at the University of Kentucky happened in 2024; In addition to many other professional and group teams or facilities through multiple sports.
Commercial participation opportunities and participation in this technology, which opens the court as a huge empty fabric. At some time, the surface appears just like the traditional parquet surface, with realistic pictures of wooden panels. Suddenly, though, it can turn into something else.
When free throws are photographed during the basketball game, for example, most players tend to spend between 45 to 60 seconds on one side of the court. ASB customers can use the available space on the other side of the floor, for example, show a fee on the free throw of the absolute-with the logo of the accompanying brand partner besides it.
“This surface allowed us to re -imagine how to communicate with fans and how we offer value to our commercial partners,” tells me, Thanos Bichtas, head of marketing at Panathinaikos, in an email. “Whether it is a dynamic interruption with the animation allocated to the court, or the live visual effects that interact with big plays, we are now presenting a level of visual stories novel that turns the scene into an interactive experience.
Bichtas says the court has become a high -impact platform to see the brand. “Decisively, it does not disrupt the fan’s experience; it enhances it.”

On my visit, I was offered to a group of women’s friendly activities that can convert these courts into educational centers during the study hours, from various borrowed offers of dinosaurs and marine creatures to an advantage that allows children to design mazes for running. Bichtas says Panathinaikos has already used ASB court to host a number of events, from stimulating brands to fans basketball clinics – in particular. Christophe, enthusiastic in a card, imagines the preparation of the entire race track on a ASB court in the near future.
“If you look at the square’s infrastructure, it costs between 250 to 350 million euros,” says Babinsky. “If our floor is placed there, this is only about 1 percent of the total budget. But the presence of this floor there will allow the use of the square often, because suddenly you do not have a yard used in a home game every two weeks. No, you can have children on Monday morning.”
