Trump rejected the Israeli plan to kill Iran’s supreme leader, as CBS news sources say

President Trump rejected a recent Israeli plan to kill the Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khounai, three US officials said on Sunday.

A US official told CBS News that the Israelis had the opportunity to assassinate my crude and transferred Mr. Trump to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu that it was not a “good idea.” They said that the conversation between Netanyahu and Mr. Trump had occurred since Israel launched a A massive attack on Iran last week.

During an interview with Fox News on Sunday, Netanyahu did not confirm directly or rejected Reuters reports when asked.

“There are a lot of wrong reports on conversations that have never occurred and I will not enter it,” he said. “But I can tell you that I think we are doing what we have to do. We will do what we need to do and I think the United States knows what is good for the United States and I will not enter it.”

Mr. Trump did not publicly comment on the report. On Sunday, he issued a flagrant warning to Iran against revenge on the goals of the United States in the Middle East.

In a post on the social truth, Mr. Trump said that the United States “has nothing to do with an attack on Iran” as Israel and Iran were circulating missile attacks for the third consecutive day.

Mr. Trump said: “If we are attacked in any way, shape or form by Iran, the full force and the power of the American armed forces will be revealed to you at unprecedented levels,” said Mr. Trump.

Hours later, Mr. Trump appeared to predict “Iran and Israel, to make a deal, and would make a deal.”

The president said he has a busy record of behavior permits, and that he would get Israel and Iran to stop hostilities “just as it got India and Pakistan” after the last confrontation across the border.

Mr. Trump spoke with Russian President Vladimir Putin on Saturday about the increasing conflict of Israel, Iran. It is also scheduled to travel later on Sunday to Canada for a group of seven, or G7, the leaders of leaders, where the Middle East crisis is expected to loosen.
