Liverpool midfielder Alexis McAllister is reportedly a target for Real Madrid.

The 26-year-old Argentina international has been a key player for Liverpool, and there is no doubt that he would be an excellent signing for the Spanish side as well. Real Madrid need to start planning for the future without Luka Modric and the South American could be the perfect replacement.

according to TransfersLiverpool wants around 100 million euros for the midfielder. It will be interesting to see if Real Madrid are willing to pay that amount of money for the player.

McAllister was one of the first names on Liverpool’s squad list, and it’s no surprise they would demand a huge sum of money for him. Losing a key player like him would be a huge blow to the club and they may struggle to replace him adequately.

It remains to be seen whether Real Madrid will follow up on their interest in a formal proposal in the coming months. It is fair to assume that Liverpool would not agree to a mid-season departure, so any move may have to wait until the summer transfer window.

McAllister could be tempted to join Real Madrid

Mac Allister is entering the peak years of his career and will want to compete at the highest level. Real Madrid could provide him with a platform to push for league and Champions League titles. He recently admitted his desire to play in La Liga also.

Meanwhile, the Argentine is not the only Liverpool player Real Madrid are hoping to sign. Trent Alexander-Arnold is also on their radar and the England international could end up joining them on a free transfer.

His contract with Liverpool has not yet been renewedIt remains to be seen whether he decides to move forward as a free agent in the summer.
