Judge Trump orders the re -control of the National Guard in California to the state

On Thursday, a federal judge ordered the Trump administration to return the National Guard in California to the state after he found that the US president had exceeded his borders by “illegal” decision to send forces to Los Angeles.

In his rule, Judge Charles Prayer from the northern province of California said that the presence of forces in Los Angeles has already caused “great harm” and inflamed tension in the city.

“The federal government cannot be allowed to overcome its borders, thus creating the conditions of the emergency that depends on it to justify the federal intervention,” Brayer wrote.

“Los Angeles citizens face greater harm than the ongoing unlawful militarization of their city.”

The matter was appointed to be valid at noon on Friday. It was a loss for US President Donald Trump, who maintained thousands of National Guard forces to control protests on immigration and customs raids (ICE) in the second largest city in the country.

“The court has just confirmed what we all know – the army belongs to the battlefield, not in the streets of our city. This victory is not only for California, but the nation,” he wrote on X.

“It is a check on a man whose authoritarian tendencies are increasing every day. Ending illegal militarization in Los Angeles now.”

The protests during the week were largely peaceful and smaller than it was last Saturday.

Eight National Guard officers stand on the steps of the federal building on Los Angeles Street on Thursday, they did not immediately realize the ruling.

When CBC News told the forces that the judge’s decision was deployed, the forces did not interact on the news that is likely to be requested – regardless of one of the guards who ignored his shoulders.
