On Thursday, Israeli Knesateet rejected an initial vote to resolve itself after reaching a deal on a military recruitment conflict. The proposal, which could have led to early election polls indicating that the PM Setanyahu would lose, failed 61-53. A majority of 61 votes were needed in Parliament 120 seats.
