California to sue the Trump administration to deploy the National Guard in Los Angeles

California officials planned a lawsuit on Monday against US President Donald Trump in response to the publication of the extraordinary administration of the US National Guard to confront the people who moved to the streets in Los Angeles to protest the Trump immigration campaign in the region.

However, police chief Jim McDONEL told a media conference on Sunday evening that the protests were out of control and that the officers were “drowned” by the remaining demonstrators. He said they included the ordinary instigators who appear in demonstrations to cause a problem.

In response to a question about whether the National Guard is required, McDONEL said that the police will not “go to that immediately”, but added, “Given violence tonight, I think we must re -evaluate.”
