About 300 National Guard soldiers arrived in Los Angeles early on Sunday based on orders from US President Donald Trump, as he set out outside a federal complex that remained largely calm and without great protests two days after clashes with immigration authorities.
The publication was the first time in six decades, the National Guard of the state was activated without the request of its ruler, according to the Brennan Center for Justice.
On Sunday morning, some forces were stationed outside the detention center in the center of Los Angeles, wearing tactical equipment and long rifles in front of armored vehicles.
