Poittino crushes “unrealistic” rumors about Tottenham’s return

MAURICIO PoCittino refused the speculation that it bonds to return to Tottenham, insisting that returning to North London is “not realistic” at this time.

The 53 -year -old, who is currently in charge of the United States national team, was linked to a rapid expulsion of Angecoglou on Friday.

The Argentine acquired the national team for the American men in October 2024 and supervised nine games so far, as it scored five wins and four defeats. The loss against Türkiye was the third consecutive loss for the team.

Poittino is now focused on the US 2026 World Cup preparation, which they will participate in hosting with Mexico and Canada.

During his previous working period in Tottenham, Poittino led the club to the Champions League final in 2019 and won second place in the Premier League in 2016-17.
