Playside Studios and Warner Bros have announced the game of Thrones: War for Westeros, a strategic title in an actual time based on the fictional IP known from George RR Martin. As the title suggests, the game is placed in the world of Westeros, and players control various factions, including Stark, Lannister, Targaryen, and The Enemy Fcess The White Walkers. War for Westeros globally calls a PC in 2026.
Players publish their factions in free battles for all that are completed by diplomacy, alliances and deception. Each faction comes with its heroes and strategic power, including the familiar and adaptation faces – The Night King, Jon Snow, Jaime Lannister, and Daenerys Targaryen’s Dragons in the movie trailer. The game includes skirmishes matches in addition to a greater war that can be played alone or in cooperation.
Marketing, including the trailer, seems to be dependent on the dissatisfaction of the fans known as the end of the offer. Playside calls on players to “reinforce the most famous battles and transformation points from the Game of Thrones series”, where the trailer showed the killing of King Night and the revival of the hero Jon Snow. They can change these results by deploying a variety of forces, including the cavalry, siege engines, giants and dragons.
