Kate Rocch, head of marketing at Openai, has announced that she is away from her three -month role while undergoing gas breast cancer.

Roche wrote: “Earlier this year – just weeks after my dream job – I was diagnosed with gas breast cancer.” “Over the past five months, I have been undergoing chemotherapy at UCSF while driving our marketing team. It was the most difficult life season – for me, my husband, and young children.”
Roche says her diagnosis is “excellent” and that he is expected to be completely recovered.
She wrote in his position: “1 in every 8 American women will get invasive breast cancer,” she wrote in office. “42000 dies every year. Prices rise to young women. I share my story (…) to attract their attention and encourage them to give priority to their health on the demands of families and jobs. The routine exam saves my life. It may save you too.”
Roche, who previously worked with Brigz in Meta, joined Openai in December. She was previously CMO of Coinbase, and before that the brand and platform products including Instagram, WhatsApp, Messenger and Facebook.
