With the popular T20 league championships, the England and Wales Cricket Council (ECB) explores options for launching a new world championship called the club’s world championship. This event is a revival of the Champions League T20 (CLT20), which lasted from 2009 until it ended in 2014.

In recent years, many countries have launched short coordinated cricket tournaments, including a hundred in EnglandSA20 in South Africa, ILT20 in the United Arab Emirates, and MLC in the United States. England and Wales Crickets are now exploring the club’s competitions, after examples placed in football and irrigation.

The European Central Bank is in the early stages of planning to revive a championship similar to the Champions League T20. European Central Bank CEO Richard Gold said that the creation of a world championship for international clubs will lead to a great structure and test for the expanded cricket scene of the privilege.

“This is on cards,” said Gold. “Undoubtedly, at some point, there will be a world championship for clubs – for both men and women. This is the next logical step.”

The Champions League T20 was jointly organized by BCCI, Cricket Australia and Cricket South Africa from 2009 to 2014.

The club’s world championship will need support from Indian concessions, as most IPL and WPL owners also have stakes in other league championships around the world. Arun Dhumal, IPL president, expressed their openness to the idea if it benefits the global cricket game.

“If this creates the value of the Cricket in a global stage, we can definitely look at this,” Aaron Damal, the IPL chairman, told Espncricinfo last month.

The report says: “Espncricinfo realizes that England is likely to be represented by the winners, instead of the T20 explosion, if the event is moving forward,” the report says.

Last year, Guyana presented the World Premier League, including five teams from various league tournaments T20. The next second version will include the Big Bash League champions in Australia, New Zealand Super Smash, and ILT20 in the United Arab Emirates.
