A senior official in one of the largest political parties in South Africa was dismissed after he visited a controversial Malio Calle in April.
Floyd Shivambo was removed as Secretary -General of the Omkhonto and Yozoy (MK) barely after six months of work after he attended the Easter Service at the Priest Church Churd Bushery, the subject of self -declared.
Mr. Bushery, from Malawi, was one of the most famous preachers in South Africa when he was arrested and charged with fraud in South Africa in 2020.
After his release on bail, he managed to escape to his homeland in unclear circumstances. South Africa has been trying to deliver it since then.
Mr. Bushery denies committing any violations.
The MK party, founded by former President Jacob Zuma, said at a press conference on Wednesday that the removal of Mr. Shevampo came after his actions were found “against the spirit of the constitution of the MK party.”
“The president and national officials left any other choice but to act quickly,” said Nathy Nation, Chairman of MK Nathi Nhleko.
He added that the trip was “not an official punishable program for the organization.”
However, Mr. Shevampo remains a member of the party and will instead represent MK in the National Assembly.
In response to the news of his reduction, Mr. Shevambo said that it “is completely acceptable” the decision that the party made and is looking forward to assuming its new role in Parliament.
Mr. Shivambu joined the MK party last year of competing economic freedom fighters (EFF) and was later appointed Secretary -General – one of the best positions of the party.
Under the leadership of former President Zuma, the newly formed MK party ranked third in the elections last year – a major factor in the African National Congress Party, which has lost its majority for the first time since the democratic elections were held in 1994.
Mr. Shevambo was widely exposed in April when he republished footage that participated in X by Mr. Bushiri, who shows the priest who declared himself asking hundreds of worshipers in his nation’s church in Jesus to welcome the South African politician.
The politician also praised, in his re -tweet, Mr. Bushery because of his “good work” and “to host us.”
Mr. Bushiri is the millionaire who created churches in many African countries.
He is accused of applying to the poor who were desperate to improve their lives by selling goods, including “miracle oil”.
The Prophet’s declared Prophet claims that he healed HIV people, made the blind, changed the wealth of the poor, and at least one occasion, they walked on the air.
Mr. Bushery also accused of rape. He and his wife denied committing any violations.
