Shakira cancels the Washington, DC, quoting production issues

Shakira canceled her next concert in Washington, DC, after “complications” with her previous show in Boston – an event that was also canceled.

On Saturday, the Colombian pop star was scheduled as part of WorldPride, one of the largest LGBTQ+ festivals in the world.

In a statement issued by the baseball stadium where the performance was appointed, Nationals Park said that “the complications with the previous offer in Boston” means that “Shakira’s full production of the tour cannot be transferred to Washington, DC” in a timely manner.

Whenever the singer said she “destroyed” the offers in Boston and Washington, DC “was not possible this time.”

“Because of the unexpected and unfortunate circumstances that affected me and other artists in Boston, my full production of tourism to Washington, DC, cannot be transferred in time for my performance scheduled on Saturday,” Shakira, 48, said.

She added, “I was counting the days, enthusiastic about her fans in Washington and Boston.”

“I promise that I will do everything I seek to be with you as soon as possible.”
