Trump calls Putin “very crazy” after the largest Russian attack on Ukraine

US President Donald Trump said he was “unhappy” with his Russian counterpart, Vladimir Putin, after the largest air attack in Moscow so far on Ukraine.

In a rare reprimand, Trump said: “What happened to him against hell? He kills many people.” He later called Putin “completely crazy”.

Ukrainian President Folodimir Zelinski said earlier that Washington’s “silence” due to the recent Russian attacks was encouraging Putin, urging “strong pressure” – including the most stringent sanctions – on Moscow.

“Everything from his mouth causes problems, I do not like it, and it is better to stop,” Trump wrote about Zelinski.

Although the European Kiev allies are preparing more sanctions against Russia, the United States said it will continue to either try to mediate these peace talks, or “move away” if the progress is not followed.

Last week, Trump and Putin made a two -hour phone call to discuss the ceasefire deal by the United States to stop the fighting.

The US President said he believed that the invitation had gone “very well,” adding that Russia and Ukraine “will start immediately” negotiations towards a ceasefire and “end of war.”

Ukraine has publicly agreed to a 30 -day ceasefire.

Only Putin said that Russia will work with Ukraine to formulate a “memo” on a “possible future peace” – a step that Kiev and its European allies described as delay tactics.

The first direct Ukrainian Russian talks have been held since 2022 on May 16 in Istanbul, Türkiye.

Regardless of the main war prisoner last week, there was little or no progress in progress in fighting.
