The largest unmanned attack from the Russian war so far hit Ukraine, killing at least 12

Officials say the massive Russian drone attack targets the Ukrainian capital and other regions early Sunday in the country for a second consecutive night, killing at least 12 people and wounding dozens.

The attack scale was amazing.

Russia struck Ukraine with 367 drones and missiles, making this the largest war of a war of more than three years, according to Ukrainian Air Force spokesman Yuri Inna. In all, Russia used 69 missiles of different types and 298 drones, including Iranian designer drones.

It was “the most huge strike in terms of air attack weapons on Ukraine’s territory since the beginning of the comprehensive invasion in 2022.”

There was no immediate comment from Moscow. As for Kyiv, today it was especially bleak, as the city notes the day of Kyiv, a national holiday located on the last Sunday of May and revives its founding in the fifth century.

Ukrainian President Folodimir Zelinski said that Russian missiles and drones have struck more than 30 cities and villages across Ukraine and urged Western partners to increase sanctions against Russia. The attack came on the third day of the planned prisoner’s exchange between Russia and Ukraine, the only concrete result of peace talks in Istanbul earlier this month, which has so far failed to produce a ceasefire. The Stock Exchange has reached a rare moment of cooperation between the two warring sides, and another is expected to take place later on Sunday.

The continuous exchange of prisoners, the most recent of the bares since the war began and the largest involvement of Ukrainian civilians has not yet stopped fighting. The battles continued along the front line with a length of approximately 1,000 km, as tens of thousands of soldiers were killed, and none of the countries retreated in its deep strikes.

At least four people were killed and 16 were injured in the same capital, according to the security service in Ukraine.

Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrei Sibha said on X.

Fires erupted in homes and companies, which were launched through a decrease in the drone. In the Zhytomyr area, west of Kyiv, three children were killed, at the age of eight, 12 and 17, according to emergency service. The service said that twelve were injured in the attacks.

At least four people were killed in the Khmelitsky region, in western Ukraine. A man was killed in the Mikulif region, in southern Ukraine.

A new attack follows the attack on Saturday
