My father died after my fourth birthday in 1992. Being very young, I have some memories about him and my family has only a small handful of home films clips, which were filmed in the short window before his death. But I have a selection of fixed images and in a new phone test, I found that I was able to revive him using artificial intelligence.
genuinely? I really don’t know how to feel it.

The new phone Honor 400 Pro Although it is a wide headphone, it packs a tool that uses artificial intelligence (backed by Google’s Veo-2 Form) to convert any image into a 5 -second video. I was skeptical when I read the press statement on this topic (as I usually), but I found it really great. Here is how it works.
You open the tool inside the exhibition application, choose your source photo from any image you have in the camera roll and press Go. It takes about a minute to analyze the image, but then that image suddenly stems to life, like a magic image of the world of Harry Potter. Don’t like the result? Just tell him about generation again and you will get a little different result.

I tried it on different pictures with mixed results. Sometimes it is very low (a picture of a person who reads a book simply that it has turned into a page), while at other times it is going strangely. I downloaded a picture of a family of sheep on a Scottish island that I filmed on the Kodak Gold movie (seen below). In the AI moving version, there was suddenly a flood of sheep flowing through the frame before the camera angle cut an air view of a full pumpkin that extends across the meadow. I think this is what children call “additional”. As before when I ran on the image of my cat and threw in strange titles for a confusing reason (more seen).
The original image of this family is sheep.

But then I went in another way. I received my father’s picture on my head decades ago. He appears to him on the stage plays Bass in his band. It is a picture I love for many reasons, but mainly because I am music myself and I always loved it. But this image is the same as all that I saw in his performance. I certainly did not go to an offer and do not think that any video clips of him play. To date, this is.
The image was fed in the application and with a certain sense of fear. I waited for her to treat her, then suddenly there was: my father, moving, groving his voice, and clearly entered into the spirit of performance. This small and white image has long been converted to something else into something else. Something alive. In fact, he made me very emotional.
But then another part of my mind spoke. This is not my father. He does not have a move and feel music. Not real. This is what the Google algorithm that he will do. In many ways, it seems as if Marionite controls it strangely by some invisible dolls, in an attempt to give the impression of the vibrant movement.
I ran several times to find out the options that you will offer, but each one was basically a slight contrast to swinging and swinging while playing the brightness. To be fair, artificial intelligence did a great job here. It looks realistic, while moving the shades properly, the microphone remains in place and its hands actually seem to be playing specifically to the guitar of the bright. It is also still in black and white, with the cinema pill and different signs of aging to the image still exists.
The original picture is my beautiful shot.
What is this hell right?
I think this made all the difference for me because it really gave me the impression of what it might seem on the stage. I had no way to ignore any strange mistakes or other random elements that artificial intelligence could make. Every time I produce a nice clip from my father playing his music.
So I am still divided into what I feel. On the one hand, it is a kind of total of how to integrate a member of his deceased family like this, based on the “best guess” of what will happen only. I offered my brother, who seemed to have the same position for me: “I am not sure that I love it, but I also don’t think I don’t like it. It is a kind of expert.”
On the other hand, life has been injected in the form of my dear decades ago and gave me a glimpse of what my father might be on stage. I liked to see it, even if it was not completely real.
It is definitely not an ideal solution for me, and if I really want to remember it, I prefer to resort to our actual home films from the pictures created. But AI’s tools may eventually bring a real comfort to many people in this world with their loved ones, who now have a handful of fixed images to stick to.
I would like to think, despite all the errors of artificial intelligence, perhaps this is one of the ways you can do a bit.
